Following are some of the most common questions we get. If you don’t see your question here, contact us!

Do you have required vendors?

No. We have vendors that we love and will recommend, but you are free to choose your own vendors free of charge.

Do you have indoor event space?

Not at this time.

Do you require insurance?

Yes. We require wedding insurance and will help you secure it. We also urge you to ensure that their vendors are properly licensed and insured.

Do you offer wedding planning?

We offer support with all things having to do with our venue, but we do not serve as wedding planners. We are happy to work with anyone you select.

Are you open year round?

We are open from the middle of April through the middle of October.

What is the maximum number of guests?

150

Do you charge additional fees if we bring in our own vendors?

No

Do you allow pets?

We allow pets to be part of your ceremony, but we do not allow them to stay on the property. We require them to be leashed and do not allow them to be left in vehicles.

Do you have noise restrictions?

In accordance with local regulations, amplified sound must stop by 10:00 p.m. Couples who book the Stay the Night package are welcome to use a smaller speaker after this time. We have a bluetooth speaker to share for this purpose.

Do you have decoration restrictions?

We do not allow balloons or confetti.

Do you allow alcohol?

We allow beer, wine, and two signature cocktails. We do not allow shots.

Do you allow smoking?

Smoking is allowed only in designated smoking areas. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor spaces and we urge all smokers to fully extinguish cigarette butts and dispose of them in provided ash trays and containers. The ranch is in a high fire risk area.

Do you allow candles?

We allow candles only in hurricane glass holders on tables.

Do you allow swimming in the pool?

For insurance reasons, we do not.

Do you host ceremonies as well as receptions?

Yes. 

Who is responsible for garbage?

Guests are responsible for ensuring that all food waste is removed and garbage is secured overnight. Vendors are asked to take their trash with them. Mission Vineyard Ranch takes care of hauling away event trash.

Do you offer mid-week discounts?

Not at this time.

Do you allow children?

We love and welcome children! Because of the pool and other dangers inherent in our ranch setting, we require them to be supervised by an adult at all times.

What airports are close to the ranch?

We are within driving distance of both San Jose and San Francisco international airports.
